For over 37 years, Westin has provided world-class products to the automotive
aftermarket industry. To both trade and consumer markets, Westin has become a
household name in innovative products that are built on the philosophy that a
product should fit, function, look good, and last.
At Westin, our quality standards strictly govern our every step in the process of
developing a new product. Because of this, in 2012, Westin brought its R & D
department under the same roof at our new corporate office in San Dimas, California.
Encompassing 10,000 Square Feet, the R & D facility has a staff that is comprised
of engineers, technicians, and CAD specialists.
Westin's R & D facility is a primary cornerstone of the company's operating model
and whose core function is to forward Westin's pursuit of new designs that keep us
at the forefront. This model is strictly followed, and we pride ourselves in the fact that
all of our products are conceived, designed, developed, tested, and quality controlled
in the USA. We utilize 3D design tools to create computer-generated renderings that
are evaluated and vetted against our trademark quality standards. All aspects of our
product designs are additionally analyzed for functional integrity, maximum warranty
life, and ease of installation. If required, we send our products to outside independent
laboratories for certification. Test results are available upon request.
