A tail light converter is an electronic device that will accept a 3-wire electrical signal from a tow vehicle and convert the signal to one that a 2-wire system of a trailer without damaging the electrical systems of either vehicle. 2-wIRe wIRINg SySTeMS 2-wire systems can be identified by use of a single bulb on each side of the vehicle/trailer to provide both stop lamp and turn signal illumination. 3-wAy wIRe SySTeMS 3-wire systems utilize separate wires to provide power to the stop lamp and turn signal bulbs. 3-wire systems can be identified by twin bulbs in each side of the vehcile/trailer.
